Gloria Macedo, PhD at Microendo, had the opportunity to travel to Germany after winning a grant from the German Embassy in Mexico. The main goal of the trip was to expand the company’s network and seek strategic partnerships that would facilitate its entry into the German market.
During her trip to Germany, Dr. Gloria Macedo made key visits to support Microendo’s expansion. She began at Startplatz, a startup incubator, where she explored mentorship programs and pitch competitions. Then, at KoinBusiness in Cologne, she focused on business opportunities for foreign companies. At Humintech GmbH, she learned about community labs and research centers.
She also visited DEG, exploring financing options for sustainable projects, and DEMG, strengthening commercial ties between Mexico and Germany. At BPW Cologne, she connected with professional women’s networks, and at Demodern, she discovered technological opportunities to boost the business.
At Go-on Group, we learned advanced sales strategies, while at Fairtrade Germany, we gained insights into fair trade practices. Finally, at Kruckemeyer GmbH, we explored industrial applications for Microendo, and at the Mexican Consulate, we consolidated institutional support for expansion.
Gloria Macedo’s trip to Germany not only strengthened Microendo’s international connections but also laid the groundwork for a successful entry into the German market, paving the way for strategic partnerships and new growth opportunities.
