At Microendo, we are always seeking expansion and innovation. Recently, we visited Canada to explore potential connections and opportunities, with the intention of expanding our operations there. This trip allowed us to familiarize ourselves with the Canadian business ecosystem and establish key relationships.
We want to thank Investissement Québec for their assistance and hospitality. Thanks to them, we gained access to various institutions and professionals who provided us with a comprehensive insight into the business and innovation environment in Quebec.

- CQIB: We explored their community labs, which offer ideal rental spaces for our research.
- McGill University – Mitacs: We discussed potential connections with the university and explored Mitacs funding programs.
- Baker Tilly: We received advice on accounting, tax matters, and related services.
- FCC/FCA: We obtained information on available supports and funding.
- Yulex: We learned about their legal services, including company incorporation in Canada.
- Cintech: We visited their equipped laboratories that meet our needs.
- CNRC: We explored their specialized laboratories for toxicity and efficacy testing.
- Canada Economic Development (DEC): They provided information on potential support for our startup, including funding.
This trip has been a step towards assessing and planning our expansion into Canada. We are excited about the opportunities and grateful for the support from the Government of Quebec!
